Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for our services and subscriptions. By placing an order or subscribing, you agree to this policy.

1) Overview

  • Our services are custom and work-product based. Completed milestones and delivered work are generally non-refundable.
  • Pre-paid, unused work may be refunded pro-rata at our discretion after deducting time/costs incurred and any third-party fees.
  • Subscription charges (SEO, PPC, Care plans, etc.) are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the active term once started.

2) Projects (Fixed-Price or Time & Materials)

  • Advance/Booking Fee: Reserves delivery slots and discovery efforts; non-refundable once work commences.
  • Milestones: Each delivered milestone is billable and non-refundable upon acceptance or 7 days after delivery if no response.
  • Scope Change: Out-of-scope items are quoted separately; cancellations mid-project may incur charges for work completed plus reasonable overhead.

3) Subscriptions (Monthly/Yearly)

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date from your confirmation email/invoice link or by contacting support.
  • Mid-term cancellations stop future renewals; no partial refunds for unused days in the current term.
  • Trials/Promos: If stated as refundable within a window, request must reach us before the window ends.

4) Refund Eligibility Checklist

  • Payment proof (transaction ID/invoice) is available.
  • No intellectual property has been transferred or code/assets delivered for the portion being refunded.
  • Third-party costs (themes, plugins, ads spend, SaaS) are non-refundable and will be deducted if already incurred.
  • No material breach of Terms & Conditions by the client.

5) Non-Refundable Items

  • Completed milestones, approved designs, shipped code, or live deployments.
  • Discovery/strategy workshops, audits, consultations.
  • License purchases, stock assets, fonts, domains, hosting, SMS or email credits, ad spend.
  • Expedited/rush fees and change-request charges.

6) Request & Processing

  1. Submit: Email Support@orangemantras.com with subject “Refund Request – [Invoice #]”.
  2. Review: We verify deliverables, hours, and third-party expenses against your order/SOW.
  3. Decision: Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days (bank/gateway delays may apply).

We may request KYC details if required by law or the payment processor.

7) Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Please contact us first for a resolution. Initiating a chargeback without contacting support may delay outcomes.
  • If a chargeback is raised after deliverables are provided, we will submit proof of work and communications to the processor/bank.

8) Duplicate or Excess Payments

  • Duplicate/over-payments will be refunded or credited to your account within 7–10 business days after verification.

9) Currency, Taxes & Fees

  • Refunds are issued in the original currency (INR or USD). FX differences and bank charges are not under our control.
  • For Indian orders, applicable GST adjustments are made per law. International taxes/duties are your responsibility.
  • Gateway fees may be non-refundable depending on provider policy.

10) Cancellation Windows (Guidance)

  • Before project start: 100% of advance refundable minus any booked resource/time already consumed.
  • After kickoff but before first delivery: Pro-rata refund after deducting discovery/planning/design hours.
  • After first delivery: Generally non-refundable; only unused, unallocated retainers considered pro-rata.

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
